CYBER RANGE
At HackingDept, we believe that the practical skills of offensive security significantly translate into action in defensive situations.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PLATFORM
The HackingDept platform is a virtual laboratory representing a fictitious corporation's telecommunications and application infrastructure. It consists of over twenty virtual machines mapping various segments of the organization's network and over twenty physical components, including network devices.

The "box" version - the version using the hardware provided to the Customer, includes additional devices used in physical attacks, i.e., components of the access control system, malicious hardware implants, and a dedicated Malware Lab.

The "cloud" version - the environment available in web browser via the Internet or VPN connection.
TWO COMPLEMENTARY IMPLEMENTATION OPTIONS ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:
APPLICATION OF THE PLATFORM
On the basis of the HackingDept environment, we designed various scenarios that show techniques and methods used in real-life attacks.
They are divided into three main categories depending on the business application:
SCENARIOS THEMES
The scenarios take into account each layer of the ICT structure being
the target of attacks:
-
wired and wireless network infrastructure (including LAN and WLAN),
-
telecommunications infrastructure (including GSM),
-
various operating system environments,
-
extensive Active Directory infrastructure,
-
web portals and applications,
-
database systems,
-
Access control systems.
In the materials of the HackingDept platform, scenarios are related to:
-
attacks againt web applications,
-
privilege escalations,
-
installation of malicious implants,
-
social engineering attacks,
-
malware analysis,
-
reverse engineering and exploitation,
-
cloning proximity cards.
MALWARE LAB
The HackingDept Box version includes a pre-configured laboratory with a set of tools to assist with malware analysis.
Malware Lab allows the safe analysis of applications running on the following systems:
-
Windows,
-
Linux,
-
MacOS,
-
Android,
-
iOS.
MANAGEMENT PANEL
The starting point of HackingDept is a specially prepared web application:

The management panel allows the following:
-
presentation of a detailed topology and the current state of the environment,
-
integrated and intuitive management of the HackingDept platform,
-
control over virtual machines during the execution of scenarios, through integration with the platform's virtualization environment,
-
restoring the entire environment to its initial state,
-
downloading materials related to a selected scenarios,
-
monitoring the progress of users using the platform through the included system of evaluation questions and internal scoreboard.
BASE LIST OF SCENARIOS
The HackingDept team ensures the preparation and delivery of the solution to the client along with a predefined basic scenarios.
TRAINING SCENARIOS
PHISHING CAMPAIGN
WEB APPLICATION SECURITY
WIRELESS NETWORK
MALWARE ANALYSIS
ADVANCED EXPLOITATION
LOW FREQUENCY MEDIA IN ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS
RECRUITMENT MATERIALS
The platform contains a dozen or so tasks and questions along with materials of various difficulty levels that can be used to verify the skills of candidates for positions in the areas of IT security.
CLASSIC WEB CHALLENGES
LOCAL PRIVILEGE ESCALATION
PRESENTATION SCENARIOS
REMOTE ATTACK ON THE ORGANIZATION
MALICIOUS PHYSICAL DEVICES INSIDE THE ORGANIZATION
The HackingDept Box platform is a solution galvanically isolated from the customer's network, with pre-installed basic scenarios.
The implementation is carried out at the customer's premises, combined with training covering all aspects of operation and practical use of the HackingDept platform and existing scenarios.
HD CLOUD PLATFORM IMPLEMENTATION
The HackingDept Cloud platform is a solution that allows access to a virtual laboratory mapping the telecommunications and application infrastructure of a fictitious corporation using only a web browser via the Internet or VPN network.
The composition and configuration of the telecommunications and application environment are analogous to the infrastructure available in the HackingDept Box.
Each user with a paid access license has the entire personal environment at only their disposal (HackingDept stack).
The HD Cloud platform allows effective solution scaling (increasing the number of users) and remote access to training scenarios.
SUBSCRIPTION MODEL
A subscription to the HackingDept Box platform is mandatory and guarantees access to all updates and future versions released during its duration. Updates will be implemented quarterly.
Subscription is offered in the form of annual packages. The minimum subscription period for the HackingDept platform is one year and is payable with the purchase of the platform.
The subscription entitles you to update the platform in terms of the implementation of 12 new scenarios per year, new functions, and the installation of new or expansion of existing equipment necessary for the functioning of the HackingDept platform.
The platform subscription can be renewed anytime before its expiry date.
The license for the HackingDept platform purchased with the implementation is perpetual. This means that you can continue to use the platform if your subscription expires.
The subscription gives you free access to complete professional technical support in the form of a predefined monthly number of notifications and unlimited RMA notifications.
Technical support is provided on business days from 09:00 to 18:00 for the duration of the subscription, with an 8-hour response time to the notification.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
We also offer you the opportunity to prepare and implement dedicated attack scenarios reflecting specific threats in the organization's IT and OT environment on the HackingDept platform.
The scope, time consumption, and cost of a dedicated attack scenario will be agreed upon with the client as part of mutual consultations.
